Advent Christian Day Care

Established in 1969, we are dedicated to serving you and your child in a safe, loving environment where growing and learning are fun and you feel like part of a family. The center is a licensed and accredited facility that has been serving the community as a dependable full time childcare facility for over 30 years.

We accept children ages 2-6 years. All children should be completely toilet trained and must attend to this function independently. If a child is not completely toilet trained there will be an additional fee for tuition.

We offer full-time child care to accommodate working parents. The program also includes a wide variety of preschool experiences for parents who wish to introduce their child to socialization skills in a school atmosphere. All staff members have early childhood professional training, experience with young children, certification in first aid and CPR, and regularly attend continuing education seminars and professional staff.

We believe in providing a loving, caring atmosphere where both children and parents feel secure during their separation. We provide a feeling of self-worth for each individual and help the child realize that he/she is a special person with talents to be developed. We encourage the child to verbalize his/her feelings and to develop good social relationships with others. We believe that a well-rounded program should include play with active and quiet times, using large and small muscles. We provide experiences in language arts, math, science, dramatic play, music and art. We include structured learning times and self motivated activities.

  • 2-years-old - full time weekly $185.00 (non toilet trained - $199.00), per day $43.00
    (non toilet trained - $48.00), per 1/2 day $30.00 (non toilet trained - $38.00)
  • 3-6- years-old - full time weekly $170.00 (non toilet trained - $185.00), per day $38.00

We have full day or half day schedules available. We serve hot meals. Preschool and drop-in available. We now accept kindergarten students.

The center opens from 6:30 am - 6:00 pm every week year round. However, we are closed on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, President's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after, and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Registration fee is $50.00 per child (non-refundable). Deposit fee is $100.00 per child, refundable at the time of withdrawal if you comply with day care policies. Family rate - 10% discount on the tuition of the oldest child. Maximum hour of attendance per day - 10 hours. Illinois Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) welcome.

Tuition is due whether the child attends or not. You pay for your reserved time.

1/2 day hours - a.m. pick up by 1:00 p.m. (maximum 5 hours per day, lunch is included), p.m. drop off after 11:30 a.m., maximum 5 hours per day, lunch is included, nap is mandatory.

Minimum enrollment - 2 full days per week or 3 half days per week.
